  3. I'm sorry to use the mailing list for 'personnal' purpose,
  4. but I really need help.

  6. My Falcon has got a problem...   :-((((((((((

  8. I usually use it in VGA mode, and the display is OK.
  9. Yesterday night, I switched my monitor to RGB (it can handle
  10. both VGA & RGB) and switched on my F030. I never had, until
  11. yesterday, any problem. But the RGB wasn't as it used to be.
  12. The horizontal and verticals 'display begin' & 'display end'
  13. look strange; I've got a smaller screen with is white outline,
  14. but I've got also a black (=no display) outline that I hadn't
  15. before.
  16. The first top line begins at the middle of the screen, and the
  17. last bottom line ends at the middle too.
  18. In overscan mode, 2 lines on the bottom are missing, I mean not
  19. displayed.
  20. I'm _SURE_ it's not a problem of virus or something like that,
  21. because the display is allready false just after a cold boot
  22. or a switch on... No vector is catch; I mean they _ALL_ point
  23. at somewhere in _ROM_.
  24. I've got a Blow-up Hard 2 resolution card, I've allready unpluged
  25. it, and there's no change.

  28. A few weeks ago, I had the desktop in english (and not in french
  29. as it used to be), and the F030 was booting in ST-low (and not
  30. in ST-high as it did)...
  31. I thought that a f*cking program played with my NVRAM...
  32. BOOTCONF.PRG couldn't fix it... I got a little programm wich was
  33. supposed to unlock & reset the NVRAM, and this one managed to
  34. help me. I just had to configure again my NVRAM.
  35. I don't know if these two problems are link; I didn't use RGB
  36. until yesterday.

  38. I'm going to verify the video hardware registers and compare
  39. them to the same registers in the same resolution on the same
  40. screen, but on a different F030... (VIDEO.PRG)
